  • *  Groups of gene knockout and wild-type mice were exposed to an aerosol challenge of virulent B. pertussis and the serum anti–B. pertussis IgG titers determined by ELISA. Results are shown for 20 mice per group from 2 experiments and are expressed as the recipocal of the mean (±SE) antibody titer (log10) for at least 4 mice at each time point after challenge.
