The authors regret an erroneous statement in the legend and text for Fig. 2 A. Their correction follows.

The CD11b promoter used in the construct described in Fig. 2 A was of human, not mouse, origin as described in reference 24. This does not affect the conclusions of the article, as human CD11b promoter drives myeloid protein expression. The human CD89 transgene expression, driven by the CD11b promoter in this study, was on mouse monocyte/macrophages as verified by staining with anti–mac-1 mAb.
